Who qualifies as a paragliding passenger ?
- Participant needs to be in good physical and mental health.
- A participant is eligible to fly if his age falls between 12 and 65 years old and his weight falls between 25 and 90 kg.
- Participants between the ages of 12 and 18 must have parental consent and be accompanied by at least one adult.
Does kamshet paragliding includes videography ?
Yes, you can obtain videography for an extra 500 rupees per person. You will receive 30-35 photos, 2-3 minutes of video, and an action camera to record your flying adventures.
Where do we fly from?
We take off from Karanjgaon Hills (shelar location) and Kamshet Tower Hills (Kusgaon hills). These locations are between 15 and 22 km apart from Lonavala.
Is paragliding dangerous ?
Since paragliding is an intense sport, you can be sure that the pilots here will look after you very well.
The pair pilots are all very experienced and trustworthy.
We shall only take to the air when the weather is ideal.
For us, security is paramount. Security shields include saddles in addition to head protection, save parachutes, back affirmation, meticulous pre-flight inspections, and pre-dispatch supervision.

What is reporting time ?
The reporting time will be in the morning or the afternoon. The day before, information will be provided via phone and will depend on the wind speed and weather.

How To Travel ?
- Take the old Mumbai-Pune highway to Kamshet. About 102 kilometers separate Kamshet from Mumbai, 49 from Pune, and 19 from Lonavala. Meeting place: next to the Rangoli Hotel. An email confirmation will be provided with the meeting point’s pin on a Google map. It is not appropriate for automobiles or motorcycles to drive up to the flying site, so you must park your vehicle or bike next to the hotel.
- We will organize everything from here on out.
- We must rent a jeep from the meeting place to the flying site. One way fare for a vehicle is 600 rupees. The price will be split according to the number of passengers (for example, if six people fit into one jeep, each of them must pay 100 rupees). You can also rent a taxi to get to the meeting place on the way back.
The Best Time of Year to Go Paragliding in Lonavala and Kamshet ?
October through May is the best time to go paragliding in Lonavala and Kamshet because June through September is India’s rainy season. The best time to glide is during winter, which runs from October to February. From March to May, warm days encourage rapid acceleration and soaring, especially in the presence of strong winds (some of which can reach speeds of over 20 km/h).
Because of this, if you’re not an experienced pilot, you should learn from a qualified teacher who is skilled in both wind and ground handling.

Important Things You Need To Know
- You must pay $700 per person online to reserve a paragliding flight at least one day in advance.
- There will be two options for reporting times: morning or afternoon. Callers will be informed one day in advance.
- The jeep ride from the meeting place to the takeoff location is extra expensive. The number of passengers will be split by the one-way fare (Rs. 600)
- You will have to pay an additional Rs. 500 for images and videos. Keep a memory card (MicroSD) on you to facilitate the transfer of images and movies. In order to prevent data transfers, we will place your card into our GoPro camera. You might have to wait for the footage if you don’t have a memory card.
